Pedestrian Safety
Campaign

Municipal pedestrian safety campaign.

Distracted driving has become a major issue in Ontario. In the Town of Oakville, a pedestrian safety campaign was launched across 10 bus shelters in strategic locations town-wide. Each month saw a different shelter ad on display with the headline ‘See and be Seen’ remaining consistent. With the focus of the message changing monthly, a minimal design approach was used including the use of a limited colour palette and repeating graphic elements. This campaign was meant to be eye-catching and succinct, since drivers and pedestrians only have a short time to absorb this important message.
