Fire and Burn Prevention
Guidebook

A handy resource for parents about fire and burn prevention.

While regularly engaging with the community on home fire safety the Oakville Fire Department thought a small booklet would be helpful as a takeaway, reminding residents of fire safety tips and other information on burn prevention. Though useful for everyone, this booklet was mainly targeted at parents and contains dramatic photos to introduce each section, as well as general information and statistics. Bright coloured icons are found throughout making the document feel more approachable to the reader while simplifying key messages.

This document has been referenced as a valuable resource for young families and through Oakville Fire it has also been distributed through the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital’s new parent package and made available to the Halton Children’s Aid Society for circulation to their clients.
